PA Turnpike Travel Restrictions Apply to all Motorists
Speed limits are now reduced to 45 miles per hour across entire system.
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (12/26/2010)(readMedia)-- The Pennsylvania Turnpike is now operating under a Weather Emergency. The following restrictions apply to all travelers. Speed Limits are now reduced to 45 miles per hour, between Interchange #247 and #359, on Interstates 76 and 276, and between Interchange #20 and #131 on Interstate 476. Emergency crews are working on the roadway. Keep alert.
In addition, all abandoned vehicles are being removed from the shoulder to allow crews to clear snow and ice.
Motorists are encouraged to plan travel accordingly. For emergencies, dial *11 on your mobile phone.
