Two Alvernia University Baseball student-athletes earned Academic All-District honors for their performances in the classroom and on the field as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The 2026 Academic All-District Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, and hold at least a 3.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Student-athletes must either compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
Both Timmy Hitchcock and Jack Zabarsky earned the honor for Alvernia. Zabarsky, a senior finance major, started and played in 37 games for the Golden Wolves. Hitchcock, a junior dual majoring in accounting and finance, started in all 40 of Alvernia's games this season.
