Paramus Native Tiffany Locke Receives Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to Germany

VILLANOVA, PA (06/29/2011)(readMedia)-- Tiffany Locke, a Paramus native and 2011 Villanova University graduate, has been awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to Germany for the 2011-2012 academic year.

While majoring in German, history and art history at Villanova, Locke worked as a curatorial assistant at the National Park Services, a digital archives intern at the Mahwah Museum and as an archives intern at the Historical Society Library. She also studied abroad in Heidelberg, Germany as a Connelly Delouvrier Scholarship recipient.

Locke hopes to pursue graduate studies in museum studies or education after completing her teaching assistantship.

Since 1993, more than 965 Villanova University students have applied for national fellowships. Of those, 274 advanced to finalist status while 159 received awards.
