WALLA WALLA, WA (01/24/2013)(readMedia)-- Pasadena native Tim Reed is developing innovative new ways to reduce water and electricity use through an internship at Whitman College. He plans to utilize extensive metering and an online digital interface to provide students with an incentive to cut water and energy spending and be environmentally friendly.

Reed is the son of Henry and Gretchen Reed from Pasadena, CA. He is a 2010 graduate of The Thacher School.

At Whitman, Reed is a sophomore interested in philosophy, politics, and economics. He is a member of the student government and varsity soccer.
