PAUL SMITHS, NY (04/02/2018) Paul Smith's College will host its annual Veterans Resource Workshop, an expert-led clinic focused on helping U.S. veterans start a business, obtain loans, utilize veteran benefits and more.

The free workshop, open to all North Country veterans (as well as friends or family) will take place Wednesday, April 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Joan Weill Adirondack Library Pine Room.

The workshop is made possible by SCORE, a nonprofit that assists in small business start-ups, Paul Smith's College and North Country Community College. It's also received support from Rep. Elise Stefanik, one of several individuals whose name will appear on attendees' certificates.

Other important aspects of getting a small business off the ground, such as financing, marketing and managing investments, will also be discussed.

A light meal will also be provided by NBT Bank.
