Paul VI students earn spots in All-District Band

FAIRFAX, VA (01/17/2013)(readMedia)-- Two students at Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax recently earned positions on this year's District XI All-District Band. Colin Hermes, a sophomore, and Chang Park, a senior, achieved this honor. Both Hermes and Park play the clarinet.

Over 800 high school and middle school musicians competed at Robinson High School to audition for a place in one of the three All-District bands.

The All-District Concert and Symphonic Bands will be comprised of the best high school musicians from across the district and will be under the direction of nationally-known conductors. They will meet in early February for an intensive three-day schedule of rehearsals, which will culminate in a free concert for friends, family and the public.
