SCRANTON, PA (06/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Philip Patrick Anthony Malley, Webster, N.Y., was among the 65 students honored by The University of Scranton during its undergraduate Class Night ceremony. The Jesuit university awarded outstanding members of the Class of 2012 for academic achievement and service.
Malley received the American Chemical Society Award. He earned a bachelor of science with a double major in forensic chemistry and criminal justice.
Malley was member of the chemistry and criminal justice clubs. He was also a member of the University's swim team for four years and volunteered as the University's mascot "Iggy."
After graduation, Malley will pursue a doctorate in chemistry at Syracuse University.
He graduated from Honeoye Falls-Lima High School, Honeoye Falls, N.Y.
