Phoenix House NY/LI to Host Food Pantry Event in Bed-Stuy

BROOKLYN, NY (06/09/2021) (readMedia)-- On Thursday, Phoenix House of NY|LI will host a "Food for Families" -- a food pantry event at Brooklyn Recovery Center. Phoenix House and partners will distribute nutritional items to serve 200 families in the Bed-Stuy community.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had profound impacts on New Yorkers. Nearly one in four households have experienced food insecurity at some point during the pandemic.
