SAINT PAUL, MN (07/31/2012)(readMedia)-- Bethel University sophomore Melanie Robertson from Plymouth, Minn., has donated the majority of her summer to aid low-income families in different areas of the United States through the organization Next Step Ministries.
Robertson traveled to Los Angeles to serve inner city residents. She engaged with the community members daily as she and her team shared the message of Christ's love to the homeless through serving meals and ministering to underprivileged children with vacation bible school programs. This was her second term as a member of a Nest Step ministry, as she served the Navajo Indian Community in Crownpoint, N.M., in 2010 as a construction worker and ministry coordinator.
