Port Orchard native presents research at annual undergraduate conference

WALLA WALLA, WA (05/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Jordan Thomas of Port Orchard, Wash. recently presented at the annual Whitman College Undergraduate Conference on Tuesday, April 10. His presentation was titled "Carbon Cycling at the Top of the World: A Global Warming Study."

Thomas, the son of Steve and Mary Ann Thomas, is a 2008 graduate of South Kitsap High School. He is currently a senior geology-chemistry major at Whitman.

The undergraduate conference is an annual opportunity for Whitman students to share their research and creative projects with the community. Presentations are given by students in all disciplines.
