Port Townsend native Henry Nolan receives award upon graduation from Whitman College

WALLA WALLA, WA (06/05/2013)(readMedia)-- Henry Nolan of Port Townsend, Wash. was honored with an award upon his graduation from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash.

Nolan was selected as a recipient of the Edith Blackman Merrell Davis Award. This award is named after Assistant Professor of English Edith Davis, who directed plays in the Memorial Building student chapel before Harper Joy Theatre was built. It is given to exceptional students of theatre each year.

Nolan is a 2009 graduate of Port Townsend High School. He received a B.A. in English and Theatre during the Whitman commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 19.
