Portland native presents to Walla Walla School Board

WALLA WALLA, WA (11/07/2012)(readMedia)-- Portland native Nathan Sany recently gave a presentation to the Walla Walla school board about Whitman College's Mentor Program. The mentor program is Whitman's largest community service program. It matches its 150 student mentors with at-risk youth in the Walla Walla community. Sany is in charge of coordinating the program and its volunteers.

Sany is the son of Rick Sany and Stacy Lynn from Portland. He is a 2010 graduate of Cleveland High School.

At Whitman, Sany is a junior Anthropology major, Residence Adviser, and member of the ultimate Frisbee club team.
