Portland native spruces up Walla Walla schools

WALLA WALLA, WA (01/24/2013)(readMedia)-- Portland native Suzanne Jaszczult is working with teachers, students, and the Walla Walla Farm to School organization to build school gardens and provide outdoor learning opportunities through an internship at Whitman College. The project educates students in the Walla Walla area about the environment from a hands-on perspective.

Jaszczult is the daughter of Rick and Dana Jaszczult from Portland, OR. She is a 2009 graduate of Grant High School.

At Whitman, Jaszczult is a senior politics major.
