An F-15C assigned to the 104th Fighter Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.

SCOTIA, NEW YORK (08/08/2024) (readMedia)-- Reporters are invited to cover the landing of an F-15C, destined to be displayed at the Empire State Aerosciences Museum in East Glenville, at Stratton Air National Guard Base on Monday morning August 12.

WHO: Representatives of the Empire State Aerosciences Museum and the 109th Airlift Wing.

WHAT: The arrival of an F-15C Eagle air superiority fighter assigned to the Massachusetts Air National Guard's 104th Fighter Wing, based at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield, Massachusetts, that is being donated to the museum for display.

The wing will transition to the F-35 Lighting II in 2025 and will no longer by flying the F-15s it has been operating since 2007.

The aircraft will be demilitarized by 109th Airlift Wing maintenance personnel before being transferred to the museum on August 16.

WHEN: 9:30 a.m., August 12, 2024. The aircraft is expected to arrive at around 10:30 a.m.
