WHITTER, CA (03/01/2011)(readMedia)-- The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2010-11 all-conference teams and for the second time in as many seasons Whittier College senior Da'mon Perry landed on the second-team.
Perry played in all 25 games for the purple and gold and averaged 9.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. He recorded four double-doubles which includes back-to-back conference games against Occidental and Redlands, respectively.
The senior forward finished Whittier's 76-67 win over the Tigers on January 19 with 11 points and 12 rebounds and as an encore poured in 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in an 83-66 loss at Redlands on January 22.
On December 4 he scored a season-high 26 points in a 70-65 win over UC Santa Cruz.
Perry ranked fifth in conference only games in rebounds (7.1) and fourth in that category in all games played. In addition he ranked in the top 20 in the SCIAC in scoring.
