Princess M. Weekes Makes Cazenovia College Dean's List

Brooklyn, N.Y., student's semester in England yields top marks

CAZENOVIA, NY (02/23/2012)(readMedia)-- Princess M. Weekes, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was named to the Cazenovia College Dean's List after her grades from Canterbury Christ Church University, in Kent, England, were recorded by the registrar. Students named to the Dean's List at Cazenovia College have achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average for all courses attempted, and have earned 12 or more academic credits during the semester.

Weekes is a Cazenovia College junior majoring in English. She was one of 26 students who traveled to England to study at Canterbury Christ Church University during the 2011 fall semester. Their studies were scheduled to allow them ample opportunity to travel throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. In the past, students have visited Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.

Cazenovia College has a collaborative relationship with Canterbury Christ Church University in Canterbury, Kent, England. This international study experience takes place during the fall semester and is designed primarily for students who are in their junior year, though students who are seniors have also participated.
