ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (07/29/2013)(readMedia)-- Properity Bank/Ameris will be the Title Sponsor of the 2013 Flagler College President's Classic Golf Tournament on Sept. 6. In addition, The Tasting Room will serve as Presenting Sponsor.
The event, which will be held at TPC Sawgrass at the Dye's Valley course, is used to benefit the school's athletic scholarships.
Last year, this event raised $65,000 with 110 participants. This event is a four-person team scramble, where the winners with the lowest cumulative score will have their names added to the Abare Cup. The cup is a trophy that was introduced in 2009 by Flagler's Board of Trustees as a tribute to William T. Abare, Jr.
