Rachel Brandenburg of North East Performs in Washington College Concert

CHESTERTOWN, MD (03/26/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Rachel Brandenburg '16 of North East, MD recently performed as a first soprano in the Washington College Chorus' spring concert, "History of Rock Opera," conducted by Lecturer in Music Douglas Byerly.
Brandenburg's area of study is currently undeclared, but she hopes to pursue a double major in Hispanic studies and international studies. She is a member of the Cleopatra's Sisters, the Spanish Club, the International Relations Club, International Studies Council and Amnesty International. She is also a member of the new Steel Pan Ensemble, recently named Steel Revolution. Brandenburg graduated from North East High School.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
