NEW YORK, NY (07/19/2021) (readMedia)-- Ahead of the NYS Assembly hearing on Ranked Choice Voting (RCV), Rank the Vote NYC will rally with Assemblymember Jessica González-Rojas, Brooklyn Borough President Candidate and Council Member Antonio Reynoso Council Candidates Crystal Hudson, Chi Osse, Tiffany Caban, and Sandy Nurse, 21 in '21, Brooklyn Voters Alliance, Citizens Union and New Kings Democrats in support of RCV and push for real Board of Elections (BOE) reform.

In July, Common Cause/NY and Rank the Vote NYC released an exit poll that showed 95% of voters found their ballot simple to complete, 77% of New Yorkers want Ranked Choice Voting in future local elections and 83% of voters ranked at least two candidates on their ballots in the mayoral primary.
