AURORA, IL (09/12/2013)(readMedia)-- Aurora University men's cross country runner Nick Cole (Rantoul, Ill./Rantoul H.S.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week.
The Spartan junior set a new personal best time of 26 minutes, 20.9 seconds at the AU Spartan Classic on Friday, September 6. He placed 22nd in a field of nearly 200 runners at the 8K event.
Next action for the Spartan cross country team comes on Saturday, September 14 when they travel to the Falcon Invitational at Concordia University Wisconsin. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Mequon, Wis.
