Rapper Asher Roth to Perform at SUNY Delhi

DELHI, NY (10/10/2009)(readMedia)-- SUNY Delhi Student Programming Board presents rapper Asher Roth on Friday, October 30, at 8 p.m. in the Clark Field House.

Asher Roth's "I Love College" jettisoned the Pennsylvania-born rapper to hip hop stardom and earned him nominations for MTV's Best New Artist and Best Hip Hop Video. His Asleep in the Bread Aisle has sold over 150,000 copies and was ranked fifth on Billboard magazine's top U.S. 200 after its release in April 2009. Critics say Roth's lyrics border on the satirical while describing "middle-class minutiae."
