HOBBS, NM (03/02/2011)(readMedia)-- Rebecca Whitley, formerly of Athens, Texas, was recently named as graduate program advisor for University of the Southwest, Hobbs, NM.
Whitley previously worked as dual credit director and student success center coordinator for Trinity Valley Community College, Athens, Texas. As graduate program advisor, Whitley will work with students in University of the Southwest's graduate programs for education and business. Her duties will include answering questions of potential students, guiding them through the application process, and assisting current students in developing a schedule of coursework for them to complete their degrees.
Whitley has a master's in agricultural education from Texas A&M University.
