NEW YORK, NY (02/14/2021) (readMedia)-- On Valentines Day, Congress Members Grace Meng and Jerry Nadler, along with Common Cause/NY, Center for Popular Democracy, NY Communities for Change, Brooklyn Voters Alliance, Indivisible Nation BK, Brooklyn Voters Alliance, True Blue NY, Rise & Resist, Persist BK and others will rally virtually for congress to pass HR1/S1: a far-ranging pro-democracy package. Senator Chuck Schumr has also been invited. The groups will send the message that the Senate should prioritize the passage of S1 and not let any procedure stand in its way.
