SEWARD, NE (08/25/2017) Rev. Dr. Charles P. Arand will present "From Nothing…Everything: Luther's Theology of Creation and Re-Creation" as part of the 500th Reformation Anniversary Lecture Series at the Concordia University, Nebraska campus at 7 p.m., Aug. 28, 2017, in Weller Chapel Auditorium.

Arand is the Eugene E. and Neil S. Fincke Graduate Professor of Theology at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, where he has served since 1989. In addition, he serves as the dean of theological research and publications as well as the director of the Center for the Care of Creation. He has published several books and over fifty articles on topics related to the Lutheran Confessions and the theology of creation.

Concordia University, Nebraska, will host three guest speakers this fall as part of the 500th Reformation Anniversary Lecture Series, all of whom will present on a variety of topics related to the Reformation. Following each lecture, there will be time to ask questions as well as meet the presenter. All presentations are free and open to the public.
