Richard Lashock of Hazleton, Pa., Assists With Summer Research at Wilkes

WILKES-BARRE, PA (08/09/2010)(readMedia)-- Richard Lashock of Hazleton, Pa., is assisting chemistry professor Henry Castejon with his summer research at Wilkes University.

Lashock, a junior studying mathematics and computer science at Wilkes, is using computers and computational simulations to study transport phenomena in complex systems such as molecular liquids and biological environments. Lashock is working under a grant from the National Science Foundation. He is the son of Rick and Nancy Lashock.
