ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (12/03/2012)(readMedia)-- Ring in the New Year and celebrate 125 years of the Hotel Ponce de Leon with an evening of historic elegance at Flagler College's New Year's Eve Scholarship Ball.
Set in the former Ponce de Leon Hotel's Dining Hall, the Scholarship Ball will give revelers the chance to mingle amid the same opulent Tiffany glass windows and magnificent murals that once entertained the likes of former president Teddy Roosevelt, Will Rogers, John D. Rockefeller and Henry Flagler himself.
Hosted by the President's Society of Flagler College, the ball begins at 8 p.m. Dec. 31 and concludes at 1 a.m. Patrons can enjoy an evening of elegance complete with cocktails, delectable hors d'oeuvres and dessert bites and an open bar throughout the night culminating in a champagne toast at midnight.

Thirty percent of the cost is a tax-deductible donation and benefits the Flagler College Scholarship Fund which helps offset tuition costs for many students with financial need.
