HUNTINGTON, IN (02/04/2014)(readMedia)-- The Huntington University Music Department will present a senior recital by soprano Audra Rittenhouse at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7. The free recital will be held in the Longaker Recital Hall of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.
Rittenhouse, the daughter of Ray and Brenda Rittenhouse, is a senior Bachelor of Arts in music major with a minor in theater performance from Huntington, Ind.
She graduated from Huntington North High School where she was a member of Varsity Singers for three years. While at HU, she has participated in women's chorale and concert choir. She has also participated in the Christmas production of "'Tis the Season: A Christmas Celebration" (featured performer), "Guys and Dolls" (Chorus Doll), "Urinetown" (Ensemble), and The Troupe (featured performer).
In April 2013, Rittenhouse was selected to perform in the annual Longaker Honors Recital. She has been studying voice with adjunct professor Joni Killian since she entered Huntington.
