Robert Brewer from Beaufort, SC Receives Cornell University Academic Honor

ITHACA, NY (05/17/2011)(readMedia)-- Robert Brewer from Beaufort, SC a senior at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, was selected as a Merrill Presidential Scholar. The Merrill Presidential Scholars Program honors the excellence of Cornell students and recognizes their high school teachers and university faculty members for the contribution they have made to these students' success. Each spring, Cornell University recognizes thirty-five graduating seniors who have demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement, strong leadership ability, and the potential for contributing to society.

Brewer was also named Second Degree Marshall for the School of Hotel Administration and will join the Dean in leading the procession during the 2011 Commencement.
