CANTON, MO. (02/16/2012)(readMedia)-- At its February board of trustees retreat, Culver-Stockton College officially welcomed four new members, including Robert Stone '71 of Hoffman Estates, Ill.

Robert Stone is a 1971 graduate of Culver-Stockton. Stone currently lives in Hoffman Estates, Ill., with his wife, Donna. He founded and owns AMS Environmental, where his wife and their son, Alexander, 27, also work. AMS Environmental helps clients with special waste management needs. While most of his business clients are in the Chicago area, his company has expanded into markets such as Atlanta and Houston.

"We are excited to welcome our newest board members," commented C-SC President Richard Valentine. "Each new member brings a unique perspective and skill set to the board that will aid in the college's mission of providing students of promise a superb education. I look forward to working with our new and existing board members for the benefit of the college."

Culver-Stockton College also welcomes new board of trustees members Terry Traeder of Quincy, Ill., William Spangler-Dunning '90 of northeast Mitchellville, Iowa, and Kent Clow '78 of Olathe, Kans.
