SCRANTON, PA (07/20/2012)(readMedia)-- Rose Marie C. Wong of Henryville was among just 25 members of The University of Scranton's Class of 2012 to graduate from the Jesuit university's Honors Program. She received a bachelor of arts, summa cum laude, with a double major in history and English. She was mentored by John DeRitter, Ph.D., chair of the Department of English and theatre and professor of English and theatre, and her thesis was "The Golden Age of Science Fiction: America's Response to Nuclear Weaponry." Wong plans to attend the Villanova School of Law in Philadelphia to obtain a Juris Doctorate.
