Ruebel Farms' "Teddy Bear" Tops Iowa State Fair Super Bull Competition

DES MOINES, IA (08/08/2024) (readMedia)-- "Teddy Bear," the 3,064-pound Simmental bull owned by Gary Ruebel of Ruebel Farms, Des Moines, outweighed the competition to win the Super Bull Contest judged Thursday, August 8, at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.

Marvin Spear and Gary Dickman of Spear Farm, Indianola, claimed second place with the 2,780-pound Angus bull, "Rampage," and Randy and Crystal Dreher of Audubon took home third place with "Albert the 2nd," a 2,476-pound Angus bull.

"Teddy Bear" will be on display in the Cattle Barn at the Iowa State Fair through August 18, 2024.
