MADISON, NJ (02/21/2012)(readMedia)-- "Ever Last," a film Rutherford, NJ resident and Fairleigh Dickinson University alumna, Nicole Aleles, performed in, will be on the big screen at the 10th Annual Garden State Film Festival, in Asbury Park, NJ, on March 25th at 2:30 p.m. Aleles was a bank teller in "Ever Last" and she also served as the second assistant director for the film.
"Ever Last" follows Kimberly Alves, an assistant bank manager, as she meets Wolf Sutcliff, when he robs the bank she works at. She soon learns that Sutcliff is immortal, indestructible, and can turn invisible. He has been alive for thousands of years, never understanding his powers or what is expected of him, while being forced to watch the people that he had allowed himself to love, live out their normal lives and die, leaving him alone. Sympathizing with Sutcliff's plight, Alves takes it upon herself to help him find reason and purpose for his life.
Written and directed by FDU alumnus, Chris Dimoulas, "Ever Last" features a cast and crew of over twenty FDU alumni and current students. FDU alumni filled the lead roles, both in front of the camera and behind it as directors and producers. To watch the trailer or for more information, go to EverLastFilm.com.
"The one thing that struck me while I was on set, was the level of professionalism shown by Dimoulas, the crew, and the actors," said Aleles. "The amount of work that had to go into filming a movie of this magnitude on such a tight schedule can only be accomplished if everyone involved is on the ball and fully committed to the project. It was very easy to tell that everyone on set was passionate about the film and proud of their work."
An alumna of Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham, in Madison, NJ, Aleles graduated from FDU in May 2009 with a BA in theater arts. While at FDU, Aleles starred in several student plays including "Guys and Dolls," "Pride and Prejudice," and "The Graduate."
