CHARLESTON, WV (05/21/2012)(readMedia)-- University of Charleston President Edwin Welch recognized Ryan Moran of Bruceton Mills, W.Va., as Senior of the Year at the university's commencement ceremony on May 6. He was one of 247 students receiving degrees.
Ryan graduated summa cum laude with a degree in business administration in only three years, and was a finalist for a Rhodes Scholarship. He worked as a peer educator for freshmen, represented his classmates as a member of the Student Government Association, and is a vital part of the nationally competitive Students in Free Enterprise organization. He will begin a master's program in hospital administration at Xavier University this fall.
