DELHI, NY (10/03/2012)(readMedia)-- SUNY Delhi was recently recognized as a 2013 "Military Friendly School" by G.I. Jobs Magazine. This is the second consecutive year Delhi has received this honor.

"Delhi is committed to assisting veterans with a seamless transition from military duty to their academic degree attainment. Serving those who have served is our motto," said Michele DeFreece, director of the Resnick Learning Center/EOP/Veterans at SUNY Delhi.

This year's list includes over 1,700 schools that have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure educational success for military students, veterans and spouses as students. These schools offer military service members the best discounts, programs, services, clubs and networking opportunities to ensure their success.

Delhi received a commemorative plaque for embracing America's veterans on campus.
