SUNY Delhi Plans Emergency Broadcast System Test

DELHI, NY (12/02/2016)(readMedia)-- SUNY Delhi will conduct a test of its outdoor emergency public address system December 15 at 10 a.m.

The test, which will be audible to residents in the village and surrounding area, will consist of a series of tones followed by a brief message stating "this is only a test." The test is designed to ensure the system is operating properly and assess its coverage area, according to Martin Pettit, University Police Chief at SUNY Delhi.

The public address system is part of SUNY Delhi's comprehensive emergency plan and notification network.
