SUNY Delhi Presents Discussion about Breast Cancer Prevention

DELHI, NY (10/08/2016)(readMedia)-- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, SUNY Delhi will present "BRCA and Beyond: A Discussion about Breast Cancer Prevention" Thursday, October 20, 12:30 p.m. in The Okun Theatre, Farrell Student and Community Center.

The program will feature Caitlin Brodnick, a 28-year-old comedian who lives in New York City with her husband. Brodnick will share her life-changing decision to have a preventative, double mastectomy after learning she tested BRCA1-positive, a gene mutation that can indicate the increased chance of developing breast cancer.
