SUNY Geneseo Student Lucas Groth Performs in Light Opera

GENESEO, NY (12/04/2009)(readMedia)-- Lucas Groth from Olean, N.Y. (14760), a senior at the State University of New York at Geneseo, recently played the role of Major-General in the college's production of the Gilbert and Sullivan light opera "The Pirates of Penzance." The whimsical tale of swashbuckling pirates has been a hit with audiences since it opened on Broadway in 1879.
