PLATTSBURGH, NY (01/13/2009)(readMedia)-- On Wednesday, Feb. 4, SUNY Plattsburgh will host a Graduate Studies Open House. The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Cardinal Lounge of Angell College Center on the college's campus.
For those looking to pursue a master's degree, to advance their career or to obtain a permanent or professional teaching certificate, this is a chance to learn more about the numerous programs offered. Advisors from each graduate program will be on hand to provide information on program specifics, admissions, financial aid and more.
Many of the graduate programs at SUNY Plattsburgh are designed to be flexible in order to meet individual needs. As a result, students may attend a variety of evening, summer and/or online courses.
SUNY Plattsburgh provides graduate degree programs in education, counselor education, school psychology, speech-language pathology, and natural science, as well as a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with a leadership concentration.
The deadline for graduate study, assistantship and diversity fellowship applications is Feb. 15.
