Sara Garvey wins student award from Temple University's School of Tourism and Hospitality Management
PHILADELPHIA, PA (04/27/2011)(readMedia)-- Sara Garvey of Pawcatuck, Conn., has been named the recipient of this year's Joel M. and Lenore Lewis Abels Endowed Scholarship from the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management (STHM) at Temple University.
Garvey, a junior tourism and hospitality management major, will accept the award at the 2011 STHM Awards Dinner on April 29 at the Hyatt Regency at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia.
The award is presented to a student majoring in Tourism and Hospitality Management who best exemplifies the spirit of professionalism of Joel M. and Lenore Lewis Abels, and to honor their achievements and memories.
