GEORGETOWN, TX (03/06/2014)(readMedia)-- Sara Goodman of Weslaco received the 2014 Outstanding Achievement in Psychology Award from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

The award is given to students who have shown outstanding performance in the classroom, in research or in an internship, and who have contributed to the Psychology Department by serving as a mentor for younger students or serving as an officer in a professional society.

Goodman received the award at the University's Honors Convocation March 1.
