Sara McMurray Honored at Western New England University College of Engineering

SPRINGFIELD, MA (06/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Sara M. McMurray of Enfield, CT, received the James V. Masi Creative Excellence Award during Baccalaureate ceremonies at Western New England University. The award is given by the electrical and computer engineering faculty to the student judged to have shown both creativity and initiative in their senior project. Evans' senior project dealt with designing a microstrip patch antenna with increased bandwidth.

McMurray graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. She was a member of the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society and served as captain of the Western New England University women's soccer team.
