Sarah Brummett named Oglethorpe University Female Athlete of the Week

Freshman Sarah Brummett of the Oglethorpe women's cross country team has been named the OU Female Athlete of the Week.

Brummett finished sixth at the Sewanee Invitational with a time of 26 minutes, 1.9 seconds on the 6-kilometer course. It marked her best finish of the season so far in her first 6-kilometer race of the fall.

A Biology major, Brummett is from Newnan, GA and a graduate of Northgate High School.
