Sarah Tursi Inducted into Sigma Xi at Washington College

CHESTERTOWN, MD (04/25/2012)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Sarah Tursi '12, daughter of Natalie Tursi and Paul Wite, Wilmington, DE, was inducted to Sigma Xi. Sigma Xi is a scientific research society founded in 1886 to honor excellence in scientific investigation and encourage a sense of companionship and cooperation among researchers in all fields of science and engineering.
Tursi is majoring in Biology with minors in Psychology and Chemistry. She is active in Beta Beta Beta biological honor society and Gama Eta chemistry honor society. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
