CAZENOVIA, NY (03/21/2012)(readMedia)-- The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall will host the annual Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibitions from March 13 through May 1. The exhibition will include work by visual communications, studio art, photography and interior design degree candidates from Cazenovia College's Division of Art and Design.

Sasha Elizabeth Goldberg, of University Park, Md., is a senior working toward a bachelor of fine arts degree in studio art, specializing in photography. Her exhibition, from Thursday, April 12 to Sunday, April 15, is titled "Skewed Nude." A reception is scheduled for April 12 at 6 p.m.

Goldberg has had her work published in the Montgomery County (Maryland) Gazette, and her photo was used as the cover of her high school planner in 2007. She has had her works shown in Cazenovia College's Annual Juried Spring Show every spring since 2009.

In her artist's statement, Goldberg writes, "My solo exhibition, Skewed Nude, is composed of digital photographs that are representations of the nude human form abstracted through use of highly reflective mylar. By doing so, I not only stress that abstraction can be found throughout nature, but the reflective surface of pooled color speaks to fluidity and evolving nature of the human form, while grounding the subject with images of a toe, knee, hand or other recognizable parts of the body."

The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall, 6 Sullivan St., is on the corner of Sullivan and Seminary streets in Cazenovia. Hours during the academic year are: Monday through Thursday, 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Friday, 1-4 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 2-6 p.m. Summer hours vary.
