HARTSVILLE, S.C. - (08/26/2013)(readMedia)-- The South Carolina Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research and Institutional Development Awards Program under the GEAR: Research Experiences has awarded a grant to Sean Arnold, Charleston, S.C., and Brandon Short, Hopkins, S.C., with Gordon Brown, assistant professor of chemistry and coordinator of the chemistry major. Arnold, Short and Brown received the grant for their project titled "Chirped-Pulse Microwave Spectroscopy of Halogen-Bonded Complexes."
