Scituate man honored at alma mater, Saint Anselm College

Kevin M. Ryan, of Scituate, was honored by the Alumni Council of his alma mater, Saint Anselm College

MANCHESTER, NH (01/12/2012)(readMedia)-- Kevin M. Ryan, of Scituate, was honored by the Alumni Council of his alma mater, Saint Anselm College. Ryan received the Humanitarian Award for his concern for others and selfless dedication to helping those less fortunate. During his time at Saint Anselm, he participated in two spring break alternative trips and was a member of the King Edward Society, a society that instills Christian charity among the student body. His charitable works exemplify the values of the Benedictine community.

Ryan graduated from Saint Anselm in 1994 with a degree in English. He works as director of employee benefit services at Longfellow Benefit Services in Boston, Mass.

The Humanitarian Award is presented to a graduate who has provided outstanding service to the community and contributed to the betterment of society.

Saint Anselm College is a liberal arts college in the Catholic, Benedictine tradition, which prepares nearly 2,000 undergraduates for graduate school and careers on a 400-acre campus outside Manchester, N.H.
