Seattle native Gus Freidman receives award upon graduation from Whitman College

WALLA WALLA, WA (06/05/2013)(readMedia)-- Gus Friedman of Seattle, Wash. was honored with an award upon his graduation from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Wash.

Friedman was selected as a recipient of the Robert W. Graham Award for Excellence in Student Leadership. This award is given annually to one male student who demonstrated skill as a leader on campus.

Friedman is the son of Jane Fellner and Niel Friedman and a 2009 graduate of Garfield High School. He received a B.A. in Chemistry-Environmental Studies during the Whitman commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 19.
