Mehlman who rose to executive producer and coined such Seinfeld-isms as "Yada Yada" "spongeworthy," "shrinkage" and "double-dipping," presents "Playing with Fire: Moving Between Print and Screen."
He also will read from his own work during "Beyond the Narrow World of Sports," at 8 p.m. in the College's Brinser Lecture Room. Both events are free, but reservations are required for the 4 p.m. talk.
In recent years, Mehlman has written screenplays, a novel and humor pieces for NPR, Esquire, The New York Times, Washington Post and LA Times, while also appearing on-camera for TNT Sports.
