New Law Strengthens NY Main Street Program to Revitalize Downtowns

Governor David A. Paterson recently signed legislation that will enhance the NY Main Street program, which has helped to revitalize downtown business districts and main streets across the State.

Senator David Valesky, who sponsored the bill, Syracuse Mayor Matthew J. Driscoll, Utica Mayor David R. Roefaro and dozens of government, not-for-profit and business leaders from across New York will join state DHCR Commissioner Deborah VanAmerongen to announce major enhancements to the highly successful and nationally-recognized program.
