Sequim native presents research at annual undergraduate conference

WALLA WALLA, WA (05/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Heather Smith of Sequim, Wash. recently presented at the annual Whitman College Undergraduate Conference on Tuesday, April 10. Her presentation was titled "Deconstructing the Starbucks Experience: Consumption Patterns and Attitudes of Gourmet Coffee Drinkers."

Smith, the daughter of Henry and Betsy Smith, is a 2008 graduate of Sequim High School. She is currently a senior sociology major at Whitman.

The undergraduate conference is an annual opportunity for Whitman students to share their research and creative projects with the community. Presentations are given by students in all disciplines.
